A division of Alabama Music Educators Association, the Alabama Orchestra Association strives to advance the standards of musical & educational achievement for orchestra students throughout the state of Alabama.

All-State Festival

Open to Alabama students aged 10 through high school, the 2011 Alabama All-State Orchestra Festival will take place February 10-13, 2011 on the campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Placement into the festival is by audition only. Audition dates and locations are organized by district. More information may be found on the Audition and District Audition Information pages.

Alabama Music Educators Association

AMEA In-service Conference will held be January 20-22, 2011 in Montgomery. AOA is proud to host more than eight sessions, including three presentations by Dr. Michael Allen from Florida State University and three sessions by Marguerite Wilder of GIA Publications.
